Dear Sir,
Referring to my letter of 27th August, I should be glad to know wether you can let us have a portrait of yourself as suggested for the proposed popular reprint of The Riddle of the Universe? Will you also please say wether you consider that the alterations which have (I understand) been made in the more recent German editions of that worka should be made in our forthcoming edition? If so, we should be glad to receive a copy of the latest edition in German, and it would no doubt be a great assistance to our translator if the recent alterations could be marked in the copy.
