My Dear Professor,
I sent you via Trieste a short time ago a set of crocodile embryos which I hope you received safely. I find I sent you some Termes female comitted the other series, larve etc which I intended to have sent. I will however send them afterwards with anything else which I think may be of interest to you. I think I inadvertently gave the name of the species of crocodile wrongly in my last letter, but you will doubtless be able to correct it if I did so. Our Ceylon Branch of the || Royal Asiatic Society is very anxious to receive contributions to the Natural History etc of the Island & we should esteem it a great honor if you would give us a short paper in any way connected with your investigations in Ceylon.
